01 / ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

When you want a satisfying meat-focused meal without any pretension, Sagaichi serves as an easygoing neighbourhood yakiniku destination. Operating across lunch and dinner hours, the dining room welcomes solo diners stopping in for daytime rice bowls as well as groups gathering around the grill for course meals on evenings and weekends.

Midday Choices from Wagyu Short Rib to Set Meals

The Wagyu kalbi set stands out as the midday centrepiece, pairing well-marbled beef with rice, soup, salad, kimchi, and a beverage. Beyond tabletop grilling, the lunch selection includes gently seasoned hamburg steak sets, ginger pork, Wagyu short rib rice bowls, and comforting gukbap, offering enough variety to keep regular weekday lunches interesting.

All-You-Can-Eat Courses and Signature Sides

For dining with companions, the all-you-can-eat course—available for groups of 2 or more—provides a straightforward way to sample widely. The roster covers Wagyu short rib, Wagyu loin, salted beef tongue, skirt steak, and assorted offal, alongside bibimbap, kimchi, and soups. Among the side options, the stewed motsu (hormone nikomi) packed with tender meat is a perennial favourite, frequently ordered alongside beer or revisited across multiple rounds.

The spacious table seating provides a comfortable setting for relaxed meals, and reservations can be arranged in advance, making weekend get-togethers simple to coordinate. Electronic payments via PayPay are accepted, rounding out a practical and approachable yakiniku experience.
